§ 1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files saved by the browser on the user's device when visiting websites. They contain information used, among other things, to ensure the proper operation of the site, analyze its usage and personalize content.

The legal basis for using cookies is the applicable electronic communications law and - with regard to personal data - Art. 6(1)(a) or (f) GDPR.

The Service uses the following categories of cookies:

Necessary cookies

Files necessary for the proper operation of the Service, remembering session preferences and ensuring security. Blocking them may prevent the use of some features.

Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller. No consent required.

Analytics cookies

Files used to analyze traffic in the Service and how users interact with it. They help us improve the site. We use Google Analytics.

Files that allow the Service to remember individual user preferences (e.g. language selection).

Cookies are retained for a period appropriate to their purpose:

  • Analytics cookies (GA4) - up to 26 months.
