Practice software for every kind of practice
A clinic, a consulting room, a solo practice and a medical group run on the same system. Permissions and the number of locations differ.
Software for a clinic, a single room or a solo practice
From one consulting room to a group with its own server. The scale and the permissions differ, the way of working does not.
Clinic and multi-specialty medical center
The whole practice works off one patient database, while schedules, permissions and price lists run per unit.
- Several locations and units, each with its own schedule and price list.
- Ten roles with separate permissions, and reception, marketing and accounting seats cost nothing.
- Insurer settlement and specialist commission close the month in one report.
Single consulting room
You run the visit in one window, on a template set up for your specialty.
- Electronic prescriptions, referrals and sick notes issued from the visit form.
- Online booking 24/7 through a widget on your own site, with an SMS reminder.
- Invoices and the revenue report are built from the visit data.
Solo practice
One specialist runs records, schedule and settlement in ZenMed, and we open the account on request, the free one included.
- Free at no cost: one specialist, 50 visits a month, 120 patient records.
- The visit form with electronic prescribing is part of the free plan.
- Everything runs in the browser, on a tablet next to the chair as well.
Groups and medical networks
On Enterprise, ZenMed gets a development line of its own, and we design the deployment around your infrastructure.
- Deployed on a dedicated server or in a private cloud you control.
- A quote of its own instead of a per-specialist rate, with priority support.
- Several locations, one patient database and reports per site.
The full list of modules, and what each one actually does, is on the features page.
Software for your specialty
The visit template, the scores and the calculators arrange themselves around what you do at the chair.
Gynecology and obstetrics
The module came out of interviews with gynecologists at four practices, and the visit form does the pregnancy maths.
- Gestational age, due date, cycle and BMI calculators inside the visit form.
- A pregnancy register with validation and an export for the national service.
- Ultrasound report templates and a prenatal screening record.
Pediatrics
The calculator works the dose out of the body weight, and the growth chart draws itself in the record.
- Dosing calculator by body weight, with no arithmetic in your head.
- Height and weight percentile charts on one patient timeline.
- The immunisation schedule and well-child checks inside the visit form.
Cardiology
Risk scores are worked out in the visit form, next to the ECG and the echo from the same examination.
- CHA2DS2-VASc, HAS-BLED and Framingham scores inside the visit form.
- ECG, echo and Holter files attached to the visit that produced them.
- Follow-up visits as a series, with an SMS reminder before each one.
Neurology
You write the examination on your own template, and the imaging result comes back to the same record.
- A visit template with the neurological examination fields and nothing else.
- The imaging referral and the report of its result in one record.
- A year-long prescription for chronic treatment, with the review date tracked.
Dermatology
Photographs of the lesion stay with the visit, so a follow-up starts from what the previous frame showed.
- Photo documentation of lesions at the visit, with a date and a note.
- A dermatology visit template and ready-made instruction printouts.
- Prescriptions and referrals straight from the record, with no second program.
Endocrinology
Test results line up in the patient record in the order you ordered them.
- Laboratory results as attachments, filed against the right visit.
- Follow-up visits in a series, with a reminder for the patient.
- A year-long prescription and reimbursement hints while you issue it.
Psychiatry
You fill the diagnostic scores in inside the visit form, and the result stays in the patient history.
- PHQ-9, GAD-7 and MADRS built into the visit form.
- Continuation prescriptions and sick notes from the same screen.
- Private physician notes outside the records that travel.
Three things from these sections have pages of their own: the visit form, online patient booking and how the records are protected.
Treatment rooms and therapy
Anywhere the consent signed before a procedure, a series of visits and equipment without clashes decide the day.
Dentistry
We designed the dental module with three practices, and the chair and the equipment are resources in the schedule.
- Check-ups and hygiene visits as recurring series with an SMS reminder.
- Radiographs and scans as attachments, open at the next visit.
- The consent before a procedure signed on a tablet, with an evidence pack.
- The tooth chart and the treatment plan sit in the treatment record.
Orthopedics and trauma
The procedure note, the image and the follow-up plan stay with one visit instead of three places.
- Imaging and procedure notes as attachments to the patient record.
- Post-procedure follow-ups laid out as a series, with an SMS reminder.
- The treatment room and the equipment as schedule resources, with no clashes.
Ultrasound and imaging
The report comes off a template, and the file from the machine stays with the same patient visit.
- Ultrasound report templates in the visit form, ready to sign.
- Images and machine files as attachments to the patient record.
- The referral and its result in one history, with nothing retyped.
Physiotherapy and rehabilitation
The schedule shows how loaded each station is, as a percentage, so you know whether another course fits.
- Series of visits at a repeating time, with a reminder for the patient.
- Rooms and equipment as resources, so two visits never claim the same station.
- A course of treatment enters the schedule as one item, every date reviewable.
Psychotherapy and psychology
We set the account up for non-medical work, so the screen holds no fields a therapist never fills in.
- Recurring visits and whole series of sessions in one schedule.
- Private notes visible only to their author, outside the medical records.
- You edit the visit templates yourself, around the way you run a session.
Aesthetic medicine and beauty
The client record holds the whole treatment history, on the same documentation ZenMed gives a medical practice.
- Treatment packages and recurring visits in one calendar.
- An automatic review request after the procedure.
- Settlement, invoicing and a revenue report built from the visits.
- Before and after photo documentation with a body diagram.
